The stars of 'Ocean's Thirteen' marked the Hollywood premiere of the film by casting prints of their hands and feet at a famous US landmark.

George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and the producer Jerry Weintraub spent part of Tuesday with their hands and feet in wet cement in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

"If I had to be on my hands and knees with three other guys, I can't think of three better guys to do it with, and I mean that in the best possible way," Clooney said.

Weintraub, who produced the film franchise that began with 'Ocean's Eleven' in 2001, became the first movie producer to cast his hands and feet in cement at the Hollywood landmark.

The honour usually goes to film stars.

"I know this is all about me and not about these three guys," Weintraub said.

Damon added: "It should be noted this isn't the first time somebody tried to put Jerry Weintraub's feet in cement."

The ceremony came hours before the Hollywood premiere of 'Ocean's Thirteen', which opens in Ireland on Friday.
