When Anderson (Biggs) asks his girlfriend to marry him she drops dead on the spot, leaving him dazed and confused.

His best friend Ted (Weston) reckons he ought to get back into the dating game and ask Katie (Fisher) out.

Not only does he do that but he instantly asks her to marry him, which she instantly agrees to.

In a rom-com we really need characters we believe in but here – for all that they’re given some funny lines – we know as little about Anderson and Katie as they do about each other. So there’s no chemistry at all.
