The Hitcher movie is gormless gore

A re-make of the l986 cult classic of the same name … which is the only connection the two films have in common.

The plot is thin to the point of invisible since it involves a lot of running away from a manic killer. Alas, the runners don’t have a grey cell between them and no amount of running and hiding helps, killer always finds them.

There’s a lot of squirting blood but absolutely no sense to what’s happening. Even worse, it’s downright yawn-inducing.
