Stallone keeps franchise alive in Rocky Balboa

You can’t keep a good fighter down, and in Rocky Balboa (Fox, €24.99) Sylvester Stallone proves there’s still life in the franchise as the now retired ex-champ gets suckered into fighting champion Mason ‘the line’ Dixon (Antonio Tarver).

While the original is still the best, this is a surprisingly decent storyline that lifts this final instalment above the mundane.

Stallone provides his own audio commentary (yeah, you can decode his mumbling), while other extras include the usual making of featurette, alternative ending, deleted scenes and boxing bloopers.

It’s a knockout!
