Witherspoon faces custody battle for children

Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon is facing a custody battle for her children as estranged husband Ryan Phillippe filed for joint custody this week.

Witherspoon filed for divorce on November 8, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, and she asked for physical custody of the couple’s two children – seven-year-old Ava and three-year-old Deacon.
