Charmer Havers to wed again

Actor Nigel Havers is to marry again, three years after the death of his wife.

The star of 'The Charmer' TV series will wed Georgiana Bronfman in New York this July.

This will be Havers' third marriage. His second wife, Polly, died in 2004 after a long battle with cancer.

Wealthy divorcee Bronfman is the former wife of billionaire drinks magnate Edgar Bronfman.

"She's a wonderful girl and I really am very lucky," Havers told the Daily Mail. "This really is going to be it for me. I have always been the marrying kind and we enjoy doing the same things, and now we can do them as man and wife."

Havers' daughter, Kate, from his first marriage to Caro Cox, will attend the wedding.

"Kate is over the moon about it and will be flying out for the ceremony," he said. "We'll have a party when we come home."

Bronfman is wearing a diamond ring which Havers, 57, bought for her a few months ago, but the actor said the couple are not technically engaged.

"I don't think you get engaged when you are over 50," he said.
