U2 may rock vote for Clinton
Irish rock superstars U2 are leading the race to land the campaign song for US Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, with two songs in the Democrat's shortlist.
Clinton has launched a competition on her website asking people to vote for which song she should use as she battles to become the American leader in next year's election.
US songs 'City Of Blinding Lights' and 'Beautiful Day' are in the nine track shortlist alongside The Staple Singers' 'I'll Take You There', The Temptations' 'Get Ready' and Dixie Chicks' 'Ready To Run'.
Also included in the final nine are Shania Twain's 'Rock This Country!', K.T. Tunstall's 'Suddenly I See', Smash Mouth's 'I'm A Believer' and Jesus Jones' 'Right Here, Right Now'.
Clinton's husband, former US President Bill Clinton, used Fleetwood Mac classic 'Don't Stop' for his successful campaign in 1992.
