Prince Harry hurt over Burrell claims

British royals have blasted the former butler of Diana, Princess of Wales' after he criticised Prince Harry's deployment to Iraq.

Paul Burrell is furious at the cost of keeping the royal heir protected while he fights in the Middle Eastern war zone, and on Sunday branded the Prince's deployment as "a PR exercise".

However, his outburst has "hurt" the young prince, according to British media reports.

A senior royal source tells the Sun newspaper: "Harry has worked extremely hard since joining the Army. It is hurtful, unfair and simply untrue to dismiss his role as a PR exercise."
