Whitaker a deserved Oscar recipient in Last King of Scotland
FOREST WHITAKER turns in the performance of his life as dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland (€24.99).
Although the film fails to live up to its hype, it does convey the brutality, inhumanity and power of the Ugandan leader as seen through the eyes of a young doctor (James McAvoy) who is initially enthralled by him, but ultimately has to make a choice about his benefactor.
