Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has angrily denied reports she is having an affair with her married director friend Alexander Dahm.
Minogue arrived in Chile last week and has since been holidaying with Dahm in Colchagua, just outside the capital Santiago.
This week, the couple have been photographed enjoying boat trips and dinners. Minogue is staying at the 39-year-old filmmaker's apartment, sparking reports they are more than just friends.
On Sunday, Dahm's pregnant wife Laura denied the couple were having an affair, insisting they were just friends.
Following the recent controversy in the British press, Minogue has released a statement, saying: "I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it completely immoral to be involved with a married man.
Her spokesman Murray Chalmers says: "On her departure from Santiago, Chile, today, Kylie was shocked to see the over-reaction in the worldwide media to her spending time with a male friend and colleague.
"Kylie recently took time out from her busy recording schedule for a short break in South America.
Whilst there, she met up with her friend, movie producer Mr Alexander Dahm, with whom she is discussing aspects of a potential film project. She found speculation in the press that she had been intruding upon an existing relationship particularly offensive."
