Murphy wed last month

Brittany Murphy has confirmed reports she is a married woman after tying the knot with British screenwriter Simon Monjack in Los Angeles last month.

The 29-year-old actress's nuptials come nine months after she ended her engagement to best-boy grip Joe Macaluso, who she met on the set of Little Black Book.
