Take That to headline Diana gig

Chart-toppers Take That have confirmed a headline slot at the Princess Diana memorial concert in London this summer.

The band originally denied any involvement in the gig, which will also feature Elton John, Kanye West, James Blunt, Keane and Pharrell Williams.

But in a statement released yesterday, the foursome vowed they would take to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium to mark what would have been Diana's 46th birthday.

It is not yet known whether rumours former bandmate Robbie Williams will be joining his colleagues at the event are true.
