Streisand eyes European tour

Superstar Barbara Streisand is considering a return to European stage after over a decade of absence.

The Way We Were singer has rarely performed since her 1998 marriage to actor James Brolin, but staged a long-awaited comeback to the US stage last year.

Streisand says: "(Last year) has encouraged me to tour again, perhaps in Europe.

"I do not like performing live. I feel like I'm in a beauty pageant; like I'm 18 years old and strutting around.

"That's not what I'm about and it explains why I have always hated live performances. It terrifies me."
