Actress Kirsten Dunst and English rocker Johnny Borrell have gone public with their new romance at the world premiere of Spider-Man 3 in Tokyo, Japan.

The couple were rumoured to have ended their one-month relationship over the Easter weekend when the Razorlight frontman returned to his long-term love Fabiola Gatti.

However, Dunst invited Borrell to join her in Japan for the premiere at Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills on Monday, where they were photographed holding hands.

Earlier in the day, Borrell performed as a solo act at HMV Shibuya.

Dunst, 24, began dating Borrell, 27, after the two met at the America singer's gig in Los Angeles on 9 March, and were subsequently spotted getting romantic at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas.

Dunst then followed Borrell to his native London and the pair have since been photographed drinking and eating in the British capital.
