Wild Hogs is a fun film

It’s not new but this mid-life crisis comedy does offer up some decently funny moments, enough not to have you revving up and escaping from the cinema.

The story involves four middle-age guys – Allen, Travolta, Lawrence and Macy – who, feeling that life is passing them by, take to the road on their motor-cycles.

On the way they stop off in New Mexico for a drink and run into a gang of mean bikers.

There’s much made of the fish-out-of-water idea – the four adventurers shouldn’t really be allowed beyond their front doors – but it’s a fun film all the same.
