Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer was named Sportsman of the Year at the Laureus World Sports awards in Barcelona, Spain last night - for a third year running.

Federer beat Formula One driver Michael Schumacher and golfer Tiger Woods to the title, which is voted by judges.
