Usher to wed

R&B pin-up Ussher broke the hearts of his legions of fans on Friday by confirming his engagement to longtime girlfriend Tameka Foster.

The Yeah! Singer's spokeswoman has revealed the five-time Grammy Award winner plans to wed the stylist.

Speculation about the couple's relationship and a possible engagement fired up after Foster was recently photographed wearing what looked like a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

In recent interviews, Usher has hinted he hopes to be married by the end of 2007.
