Radiohead denies Starbucks rumours

British group Radiohead have denied rumours they are signing an album deal with Starbucks' label Hear Music.

The OK Computer stars are currently searching for a new record company after fulfilling their six-album contract with EMI with Hail To The Chief in 2003.

The group were rumoured to be signing to Starbucks after they were allegedly spotted lunching with Hear Music executives in London recently.

The reports surprised fans of Radiohead, whose frontman Thom Yorke is well-known for his outspoken political views and anti-capitalist sentiments.

But the group's management company says: "Radiohead are currently in the studio working on their next record.

"They are not negotiating a new record deal with anyone, and will not even consider how to release their new music until the album is finished.

"The rumour that they are about to sign with Starbucks is totally untrue."
