A charity concert to help 148,000 Irish poverty-hit children is a sell-out, it emerged today.

A charity concert to help 148,000 Irish poverty-hit children is a sell-out, it emerged today.

FM104's Help a Dublin Child gig in aid of Barnardos at Dublin's Olympia theatre features The Thrills, The Blizzards, Duke Special, Director and The Coronas.

Other surprise acts will also hit the stage on Saturday, March 31.

You're A Star host Keith Duffy will be MC on the night, with FM104 DJs Adrian Kennedy and Jenny Green.

Barnardos, which was established in 1962, is a leading independent children's charity in Ireland.

It strives to meet the needs of the estimated 148,000 children in Ireland who live in consistent poverty.

"Barnardos does fantastic work for young people here in Dublin and throughout the country," said Tim Fenn, FM104 managing director. "We are delighted to be raising vital funds and awareness for them."
