Snoop Dogg has been held overnight by police in Sweden on suspicion of using drugs.

The rapper, real name Calvin Broadus, and a female companion were stopped in by police in Stockholm, who believed they had taken illegal narcotics. They were taken to a police station but were released after questioning. He underwent some tests, that will now be sent away and in two to three weeks, the cops know if he was on something. The hip-hop artist could be fined if the tests come back positive.

Snoop Dogg was in Sweden for a concert with fellow rapper P Diddy and was on his way to a party when stopped by police. A small amount of narcotics were found in the car although it was unclear whether it belonged to Snoop Dogg.

The 35-year-old is also currently facing weapons and drugs charges stemming from three separate arrests in 2006.
