Next leg of Hurley wedding getting underway
The city of Jodhpur in western India is getting ready for the next leg of the wedding of Elizabeth Hurley and her new husband, Arun Nayar.
Large numbers of policemen have been deployed from the airport to the three hotels where the couple and their celebrity guests will be staying.
The couple were married on Friday in a private ceremony in England. They are now holding a traditional Indian wedding.
The couple arrived in Mumbai on Monday night, where a pre-wedding party was hosted for them.
According to reports, the pre-wedding events will include the traditional turmeric ceremony that every Indian bride-to-be must go through.
Turmeric paste, mixed with oil, is applied to the woman's hands, legs and face while some is also dabbed on the groom's face. It is believed the paste brings a glow to their faces during the wedding.
Several celebrity guests are expected, including Elton John, Hugh Grant and Bill Gates.
