A recording of the Welsh anthem Land of my Fathers supposedly performed by Jimi Hendrix during the 1970s has been exposed as a hoax.

A recording of the Welsh anthem Land of my Fathers supposedly performed by Jimi Hendrix during the 1970s has been exposed as a hoax.

The owner of the tape, former record producer Martin Davies, concedes he asked his friend, musician John Ellis, to play a Hendrix-style version of the song.
