Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty has asked his former Libertines bandmate Carl Barat to be his best man at his forthcoming marriage to supermodel Kate Moss.

Doherty and Barat fell out in 2004 when the Babyshambles frontman quit The Libertines to start his own band.
