Destiny's Williams joins Colour Purple

Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams has signed up to play blues singer Shug Avery in the Chicago, Illinois production of The Colour Purple musical.

The Bills Bills Bills performer, 26, will joins the stars of the current Broadway production, which stars its tour in Chicago on April 17.
