School for Scoundrels

Director: Todd Phillips

Cast: Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Heder, Michael Clarke Duncan, Jacinda Barrett

Cert: 12

Thornton, as you would expect, walks off with this quality re-make of the l960 film about learning how to be a winner… mostly by cheating.

He plays here a badly downtrodden man who joins the classes of a couple of dubious sharks in order to win his neighbour (Barrett).

The comedy isn’t downright fall-on-the-floor but Thornton keeps things moving along in his typical style with some terrific one-liners.
