James Brown's family agrees on burial

Godfather of Soul James Brown could finally be buried in the US in the next few days.

Lawyers in South Carolina say the singer’s six adult children and his partner Tomi Rae Hynie have agreed where Brown will be put to rest.

Ms Hynie’s lawyer Robert Rosen said the site of the burial was being kept confidential and Brown could be laid to rest in a few days.

Also yesterday, a South Carolina judge ruled the trustees accused of mismanaging Brown’s estate will not be removed, but a special administrator would oversee their work.

Brown died on Christmas Day in Atlanta, Georgia.
