Hanks rumoured to film in Belfast

It's mere speculation at the moment, but Hollywood star Tom Hanks might just be heading to Belfast to shoot part of his planned film, The City of Embers.

Representatives from Hanks's own production company - Playtone - have been spotted in the North and are said to have been impressed, particularly with what the growing Titanic Quarter had to offer.

Keeping the fingers crossed, the Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission said that they are "still in negotiations."
