Byrne joins Pacino and Stone with TCD honour

Irish actor Gabriel Byrne will join the ranks of Hollywood heavyweights Al Pacino and Oliver Stone when he's awarded one of Trinity College, Dublin's highest accolades.

The Usual Suspects star will pick up an Honorary Patronage from the University Philosophical Society later today. Both Pacino and moviemaker Stone are already recipients of the prestigious award.
