Pretty Baby is a fascinating drama

Pretty Baby (Paramount, €24.99) is Louis Malle’s controversial work about a child, Violet (a fine performance from Brooke Shields), who lives in a brothel with her prostitute mother (Susan Sarandon).

When a photographer (Keith Carradine) arrives and Violet strikes up a relationship with him, her world is changed forever.
