Rocker Chris Cornell has quit Audioslave, citing "irresolvable personality conflicts" and "musical differences" for his decision.

The former Soundgarden frontman joined former Rage Against The Machine bandmates Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford to form Audioslave in 2001.
