Seagal sick of acting

Hollywood hard man Steven Seagal is desperate to break free of his action man film roles- and is begging film producers to let him have a chance at another genre.

The Under Siege actor wants to prove he is more than just a muscle man, but admits film bosses have him typecast as a martial arts action star.

He tells Empire magazine: "There's an epic I want to make, about Will Adams, a British lord who was asked by the Queen in the 15th century to go find gold. I want to make a movie about Genghis Khan.

"It's a shame that a large group of people with the money just want to see me do one thing and that's action. It's extremely disappointing"
