Pitt pulls out of SAG awards

Brad Pitt will be another no-show at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday - because he's too busy shooting a new film in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The movie hunk was expected to join his Babel castmates, who are nominated for a number of awards - including Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture - but he can't get away from the set of new film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Pitt joins Meryl Streep among the absentees; the actress has been forced to pull out of attending the SAG Awards because she's co-hosting the 10th annual benefit for Harvard Medical School's Center for Health and the Global Environment with former US vice president Al Gore.
