Williams to play movie alcoholic?

Robbie Williams is reportedly set to play a recovering alcoholic in a new movie.

The Rudebox hitmaker is said to want a break from his singing career and is in talks with film-maker Roy Verdon about portraying Nick Charles in an adaptation of his book Through A Glass Brightly: The Fall And Rise Of An Alcoholic.

Addict Charles spent 25 years living on the streets after losing his home and his family.
