Banks blasts fat reports

Supermodel-turned-talk-show-host Tyra Banks has spoken out about her alleged weight gain, insisting that her shapely body is far from fat.

“I get so much mail from young girls who say: ’I look up to you. You’re not as skinny as everyone else. I think your beautiful,” the America’s Top Model presenter reveals to People magazine.

The voluptuous star claims recent photos of her walking on the beach in a swimsuit were taken at a dodgy angle.

However, the 5ft10 beauty admits that she is 161 pounds, 30 pounds heavier than when she appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated at the height of her modelling fame.

“I still feel hot, but every day is different. It’s when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don’t fit now and give me the muffin top, that’s when I say: ’Damn!’”
