Capote portrayed brilliantly in Infamous

Having already seen an Oscar-winning performance in 2006 about Stateside writer – and complex character – Truman Capote there is still to be got from his writing of the true-life murder best-seller In Cold Blood.

More so when this time Capote is portrayed so brilliantly by the little-known Jones. Indeed, if anything there is more depth to this central character whose research into the murder in Kansas forces some serious self-examination.

It is, then, a film to set alongside the original and to delight in.
