Grafton the early favourite to win You’re a Star

Finglas man Andrew Grafton has emerged as the favourite with two of Ireland’s leading bookmakers to win this year’s You’re A Star competition on RTÉ Television.

The 21-year-old is one of 11 acts hoping to get the public’s votes and win the competition which will see the winner receive an exclusive recording deal with Universal and recording equipment worth more than €10,000.

“Andrew lit up the stage and he’s our favourite at the moment but these guys need support,” said Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power.

“Often it’s the people with the most home support that goes on to win these shows so the public need to ensure the most talented wins by voting!”
