Jagger insists on changing name of TV show

Rolling Stone Mick Jagger has insisted on changing the name of a US comedy that featured a band of rogues trying to rip him off, a network chief has said.

ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson said Jagger was happy to appear in the sitcom, but objected to the series name of Let's Rob Mick Jagger.

ABC then changed the title to the less-colourful Knights Of Prosperity, McPherson said.

It is unclear whether Jagger will appear on the show again, but other stars, including singer Sting will be featured.

"A lot of people have come out of the woodwork to be on the show," he said. "It has become a hip New York comedy to be involved in."
