The State Within is great viewing

A complex thriller with a strong political slant, The State Within (BBC, €44.99) moves along at a cracking pace from the explosive opening scene when an aircraft blows up above Washington.

The action and revelations come so fast you really have to pay attention. Corruption, terrorism, bodies everywhere, SAS, and surprising twists everywhere.

In the middle of it all is British ambassador Mark Brydon (Jason Isaacs) who always seems to be one step behind events.

Good special effects too mark this double disc release out as great viewing. A decent making of the feature is the added bonus.
