Lloyd Webber undergoes eye surgery

Composer Andrew Lloyd Weber is recovering after undergoing surgery on his eye yesterday.

It is thought the theatre impresario was suffering damaged tear ducts when he was admitted to London's Wellington Hospital.

A close friend tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror: "It was follow-up surgery."

Lord Lloyd-Webber suffers from a condition that makes his eyes water.
