Law plans Christmas in South Africa

Jude Law is so busy planning Christmas in South Africa that he only wants socks from family and friends.

The English star took his kids to Tanzania for Christmas last year and they all had such a good time, he's heading back to Africa.

He explains: "I just thought it would be good for them. They really loved Tanzania and I thought it would be good for them to see another side of Christmas and get away, keep the presents simple."

But he didn't completely turn his back on a traditional English Christmas - and he won't this year.

He adds: "We came back and had a kind of classic English Christmas with the tree and lots of presents and a log fire. As for me, I don't need anything - just some new socks."

But Law's Christmas fun will be short-lived: "I start work on January 2, so I'll have a very quiet New Years Eve."
