Trump steps up war of words with O'Donnell
Real estate mogul Donald Trump has stepped up his war of words with comedienne Rosie O'Donnell after she made unflattering statements about him on US chat show The View on Wednesday morning.
Co-host O'Donnell called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" following his announcement that he would not fire troubled Miss USA Tara Conner.
She then went on to talk about alleged extra-marital affairs and discussed Trump's finances, claiming that he went bankrupt - a charge he denies.
Trump fired back, telling American publication People O'Donnell is "a woman out of control" and insisting he would be suing her over her statement questioning his financial well-being.
He appeared on Good Day LA yesterday to fire yet more barbs at O'Donnell.
"I think she's very attracted to Miss USA so she probably wanted to put the crown on her head herself," he said.
"She is a very, very unattractive woman who really is a bully…
"Rosie is a loser, and ultimately (The View) will fail because of Rosie.
Barbara (Walters) made a mistake and let me tell you something, Barbara's a good friend of mine. She cannot stand Rosie O'Donnell."
