Grey's Anatomy voted top entertainer

The cast members of hospital drama Grey's Anatomy have been named the year's top entertainers by US magazine Entertainment Weekly.

It said the show had a cultural impact far beyond its 20 million viewers. Steamy storylines and moral dilemmas have not only provoked office chatter but also emptied restaurants during broadcasts, the magazine said.

Also noted for their influence were video website YouTube, fake reporter Borat and actress Meryl Streep.
