Sligo director at helm of off-beat animated film

Suppose the Germans had won the Battle of Britain and invaded England … only to be defeated by the Scots?

That's the off-beat plot behind Sligo-born debut of director Edward McHenry, who wrote Jackboots with brother Rory.

And when shooting gets under way shortly, the cast lending voice to the animated feature will include Rosamund Pike, Timothy Spall, Alan Cumming, Richard E. Grant, Tom Wilkinson, Richard O'Brien and Sanjeev Bhaskar.
