Costello and Krall welcome twins

Singers Elvis Costello and Diana Krall welcomed twin boys on Wednesday.

Sons Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlan James were born in New York City.

A representative for the couple tells American publication People: "Mother and sons are doing splendidly."

Krall and Costello said in a statement: "We are ecstatic!"

The 42-year-old Look Of Love singer has said that twins run in her family.

The babies were born one day after the couple's third anniversary - they wed in London on December 5.
