Thornton the best film Santa
Billy Bob Thornton's foul-mouthed drunk in Bad Santa has been voted the best-loved Santa in a new poll.
British movie magazine Hotdog's number one choice may surprise some - considering Billy Boy's character is a misogynist, sexist and ranting drunk. But the magazine insists he is a worthy winner.
A spokesperson for the magazine says: "Billy Bob Thornton's Santa is one of the most entertaining you're likely to encounter. Instead of spreading good cheer, he robs department stores."
Edmund Gwenn's Santa in Miracle Of 34th Street and South Park's Santa took second and third place respectively. The Santa girls in Love Actually, came fourth, while the animated Santa in family favourite Father Christmas came fifth.
