George Clooney is feeling lucky about Ocean's Thirteen - it'll be his last outing as heist master Danny Ocean.

The movie star reveals there was never going to be a second sequel to Ccean's Eleven, but both he and director Steven Soderbergh felt Ocean's Twelve was so poor, they had to make another film.

He tells film website iFMagazine.com: "Thirteen happened because we felt like we could do it better than Twelve.

"We didn't want to go out getting socked in the chin on one. (We) really were like: 'We know how to do this.'

"We found a really good reason to do it, which is revenge - which is always better than just making money. That made sense to us, and we thought: 'OK, that's a good reason to do it.'"

Clooney insists there won't be an Ocean's Fourteen unless his career really takes a tumble.

He adds: "There doesn't seem to be any reason to come back... Maybe 10 years from now I need a job again and I'll take it, but right now we don't plan on another (Ocean's movie)."
