Doherty attends London party tragedy

A drug-fuelled house party attended by rocker Pete Doherty ended in tragedy on Sunday night after actor Mark Blanco fell to his death from a balcony.

Doherty was not involved in Blanco's death, although the two revellers had fought earlier in the evening, according to British newspaper The Sun.

A source tells the publication: "Blanco arrived at Paul's a little drunk. He and Pete started to niggle each other.

"It turned into a full blown argument, with insults being thrown on both sides. The argument got physical and Roundhill stepped in to break it up. He then asked Blanco to leave.

"A few minutes later some lads came rushing up to say there was a man lying in the street."

Blanco, who starred in the London play 'The accidental death of an anarchist', was rushed to hospital, where he died yesterday.
