Superman Returns better than expected

Brandon Routh proves better than expected in Superman Returns (Warner, €24,99), a spectacular return to form for the franchise.

Directed by Brian Singer, this special effects-laden film delivers some incredible action scenes and sees our Man of Steel returning after a long absence to find the world has got by without him and Lois Lane (Kate Busworth) has forgotten him too!

For an extra few euro you can buy the double disc special edition with hours of extras, including 10 extra scenes and a fascinating documentary presenting in several parts an in depth making of feature.

Highly entertaining.
