Borat to release Christmas single

Fictional TV reporter Borat Sagdiyev is set to release a Christmas single.

The Kazakhstani journalist, created by British comic Sacha Baron Cohen, is aiming for the top spot in the festive chart next month.

Sagdiyev says: "Cliff Richard is a very popular man in England at 'Chrishmash' time. He nice man and talented.

"But my song… is very very good. Please come buy it. If it success, I get clock radio. If not, I will be execute."

Borat's blockbuster movie Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan has made box office records all over the world - in the US it took over $25m (€19m) in just three days.
