Second jungle trial for drippy designer

Fashion designer Scott Henshall is to undertake the next Bushtucker Trial - for the second time in a row.

But this time he won’t be alone – in a surprise double vote, former newsreader Jan Leeming was also picked for the head-spinning task.

The ordeal, dubbed Tree Top Terror, will see the pair suspended high above a steep drop as they attempt to win food for their fellow celebrities.

As the pair were told of their fate, Leeming, who has already performed one trial, wailed “What have I done wrong?”

Her fellow celebrities attempted to comfort her by saying it might be because she was “being entertaining”, but Leeming said: “If I’m being entertaining I’m going to stop it. I can’t believe this.”

Drippy designer Henshall will be hoping he performs better in this trial than he did in his first attempt.

He gave one of the worst performances on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after being forced to disco dance while wearing a pair of plastic pants filled with creepy-crawlies.

To earn the maximum 10 stars, Henshall had to dance continuously to five songs.

But he pulled out of the task – uttering the show’s catchphrase: “I’m a celebrity, get me out of here!” – after only one song, winning just a single star.

“I don’t dance and I hate bugs!” he screamed before it began.

“You are joking, aren’t you?” said a disbelieving Dec.

“You could have stayed on for longer, couldn’t you?” asked Ant. “They were only crickets and earth worms.”

But Henshall told them: “No, absolutely not. I know it’s pathetic, but I said I’d get one and that’s enough.”

On his return to camp he told the other celebrities: “I feel mortified. I feel like I have let you all down.”

The group ended up sharing one portion of wallaby stew between 10 people.
